Bold and Bright Layouts

Indigo Mill stock some fabulous stash and have put together some great kits to fire up your imagination. to help you along with this here are a few pages using the products stocked by indigo mill, when putting these pages together i used bright bold colours that are not in my normal comfort zone (being a fan of vintage and shabby chic!!!).

The splash page was done using only one sheet of patterned paper.. yes i promise it was only one sheet!! the base i used was the bazzil bling and i cut the vine from the Hidi Swapp – flowing vine double sided sheet the remainder of the sheet was used as a background and i punched out a few circles and frames to create a bubble effect. the title is made from the Basic Grey Blush mini monograms. add a few bling brads and flowers for that finishing touch.005

I came completely out of my comfort zone with the bright colours on this one… I used the sticky chip from doodlebug “fall”, basic grey Romani mini monograms, Red and orange bling brads, orange ribbon and yellow punched scalloped edge card stock, a sheet of orange card stock, and a few flowers from my stash and some patterned paper from the daisyd’s wonder years pack. 0071

Now this one i thought was a bit of fun… a challenge to make a wedding page using non traditional colours!!! no soft pinks, white or ivory here… just greens, red, orange and yellow. i used elements from the Bling Queen kit for the title and the sequins as well as the rub-ons. the big read tag comes pre-cut and the frame was made with a plain chip frame covered with the self adhesive “Betty You + Me” fabric and don’t forget the bling brads!!!

044Hope you like them… now go on have a go yourself and dont forget to stop by the shop and pick up the supplies!!

With love Claire xx
