Tea for Two Kit from Indigo Mill

30th September, 2008 at 9:16 pm (Uncategorized)

This is a page I have done with the Tea for Two kit from Indigo Mill
Included in the kit are -:
# 1 x Prima Tea and Silk – Nijo paper
# 1 x Vintage Pink Bazzill
# 1 x Brocade Bazzill
# ½ pack Heidi Swapp round mirrors
# ½ pack Jewel Brads
# Handful of Prima Blooms (pink / green
This is a kit which is for your truly special photos. We have used it for an old, and slightly sepia photo of my Mum and Dad’s wedding back in the 50’s, and it’s just perfect. The tea and silk paper is gorgeous. Oriental in style, but not OTT, just that special touch needed for a more ‘vintage’ photo. The colours aren’t normally those I would have considered for a wedding photo but I think they are very effective

Our 12 hour crop last weekend – Christmas Layout

16th September, 2008 at 9:55 pm (Uncategorized)

Well! What fun we had for our 12 hours. Lots of lovely ladies, laughter and giggles, as well as complaining(!) at the white space challenge!! 🙂

I can’t get the photos up here very well, it’s driving me mad, so lets try one at a time.

Firstly, we had a Christmas layout class, using the Crop-a-dile, Big Bite, Cricut, Dreamkutz and any other tools we could lay our hands on and play with. The cricut was a big hit with everyone, it’s fabulous and I love it (except it isn’t mine… boohoo) So hopefully, I can get some of the girls layouts up on here:

Here we go …

And there you have it!
Part 2 – the white space challenge will be up next…..

6th September, 2008 at 10:05 am (Uncategorized)

Don’t forget we have been sponsoring Easy Craft Projects for a month, and they have come up with some absolutely fantastic projects using our beautiful kits.

Check out the website here…. each project has illustrated instructions on how to recreate it, and if you have a browse, there are many more fantastic and (as the name suggests) easy!

It really is a brilliant website, and Lisa and the girls do some beautiful work.

Why not pop over for a look if you’re free for a couple of minutes?

Thanks girls, I’m very proud to sponsor your work, and will continue to promote your site as I think it’s fantastic!

Been a while!!

4th September, 2008 at 10:23 pm (Uncategorized)

Hi everyone!

Sorry it’s been such a while between posts, if you take a look over on Scrapbooking for the Soul, we’ve had a busy weekend with weddings and what not. Loads of new piccies for scrapping though!

We’ve also been busy setting up the Scrapbooking for the Soul blog, where you can buy all the bits and pieces from our kits on their own, just in case you love something so much you just *have* to have more, or just want to try something you’ve seen in a kit without all of it.

You can now visit it here

We have made sure we did our research and are pretty confident that the majority of our prices are some of the lowest you will find. What are you waiting for?……
