Inspiration – Frosted lace paper – KI memories

18th August, 2008 at 9:07 pm (Uncategorized)

It must be pretty obvious by now, but I’m a biiiiiig fan of KI Memories lace paper. So here’s *another* idea / way of using it. I’ve trimmed a good inch and a half from a sheet of black bazzill and stuck it on top of the lace cardstock, so that it acts like a border. I cut two triangles from white and orange cardstock and stamped them with my ‘En Francais’ stampin up stamp and inked the edges. I cut the centre out of the lace cardstock as it wasn’t on view behind the black bazzill (waste not my fellow scrappers!) and used it to ‘mat’ my photo. The photo is lightly distressed around the edges and then inked so that the white / black stands out on it’s backgrounds. Tigger is cut from my mango tango alphabet in white bazzill, then inked in mango. I have drawn ‘tigger strips’ over the lace mat and the title, and drawn doodles to make the ‘g’ letters look as though they are bouncing (I hope it does anyway!) A few adhesive stones on the lace card, and we’re done. Boing, Boing… Scrappin’s what Steffi does best!! ๐Ÿ™‚
