Anyone got a confession??
I have just collected the most gorgeous smelling parcel from the Post Office, which turned out to be a birthday present sent via Lush Online…. but no note or anything…. would anyone like to ‘fess up as the sender of such lush-esness (haha good one)

To the moon with the laundry

To The Moon Gracie!
Fed up with the laundry – send it to the moon – ha ha – no seriously – this is a layout I have just completed with the gorgeous, gorgeous laundry lines paper. So easy to work with – I love the texture – the colours – the whole line is simply scrumptious!
Birthday freebies!!
Since it’s my birthday today and I chocolate cake and scrapbook papers don’t technically mix, I have to find another way of sharing my birthday with my customers.
All orders placed before midnight tonight will therefore get a little ‘present’ popped in before I send them on their way!

Customer layouts (3)
The lovely Becky Gotch created these two beautiful layouts with our Laundry Line kits…..

Becky created her pages using sketches by Shimelle, one from Scrapbook Inspirations, and the other from UKS ‘Scrap Like you Mean It’ challenge. I love how she has ’scalloped’ around the ‘curiously large spots’ paper, and how the chiffon large scallop cardstock gives such a striking look to a page where we usually expect it to be a neat square!
Thank you for sharing Becky! Make sure you send us some more!

Happy shopping!

After Eight Frame
After using up scraps from the ‘After Eight’ kit, I made his gorgeous mini photo frame for a dear friend
Sneak Peek
Not long to go till the retreat now, and I don’t know about everyone else but i cant wait!! Last year was great and such a nice way to relax and meet some great new friends. It made a change to relax and chill out, have some true “me” time, and go home with some finished projects!! (not to mention the hot tub – next time must remember not to leave specs on the side as they are quite hard to find when they fall in… Christina!!)
Well I have finished the sample for the Never-ending Story class, I’m going to teas you and not show it to you just yet, but you can have a sneaky peek!! This one was made with one of the fantastic paper packs that Steph has lined up for us all. They come in a few different colour ways but I just loved this one in blues and browns, I had TONS!!! left over and will let you see what I have done with the leftovers when I’ve finished it.
Well best get a wriggle on…so much crafting to do, so little time !!
Take care, love Claire xx

Bazzill’s new embossed cardstock
We’ve had our order of the new embossed Bazzill cardstock sitting in it’s box for the last week, but now we’ve had it out to stroke, sniff, and slobber over (only our sheet, don’t worry!) we just HAVE to share with you how absolutely yummy scrummy gorgeous it really is.
I have a bit of a fetish for ’strokeability’ with the products I used, and my pages all have some tactile elements to them, it’s very rare for me not to add a bit of touchy feely to a page or project, so this hits all the right notes! Although I’ve recently changed my cardstock loyalty over to American Crafts cardstock – I can’t see me ever shunning this beautiful embossed card….
Here’s a close up…..

HOW GORGEOUS!!???? It comes in six different patterns, and each pattern has one coloured range of it too – hopefully they’ll bring out more in the way of colours at CHA summer, but for now, I’m perfectly content with 12 sheets to play with!!
It’s featuring in a couple of our upcoming kits (sneaky peeks below) so keep your eyes peeled!

Big is beautiful!
Anyone who knows me / has visited my house will tell you about my ‘wall’….. basically, I scrapped it! Well why not… we don’t just put our photos in dull albums as scrapbookers, so why just hang them on a wall?? All it takes is thinking BIG and oversize, i.e. a whole sheet of bazzill in place of a teeny bit!! lol
So, I couldn’t just stop at the living room wall (here is a piccie to remind you / so you can see it and a link to the original post)

And last night, I decided it was high time the bedroom wall had something done to it! It’s been painted black and ready for action for several months, my ‘embellishments’ are Christmas decorations which I bought in the garden centre’s half price sale after Christmas, the picture in the middle is a canvas from B&M home store, as is the flower screens down the left hand side. I used 3 sheets of 12×12 bazzill behind the screens, a sheet of Little Yellow Bicycle paper cut into shape and in half for the right hand corners, and then doodled on the wall (Yes, thats right – STRAIGHT ONTO THE WALL – you can all such your breath in in horror!) and on the canvas with my galaxy markers.
Waking up to it this morning with the sunlight glittering on all the sparkle was fantastic, and certainly made me smile first thing!

And I always get asked “What does your husband think about it” – well, he helped me do it!!!! Well, he laid on the bed and ‘advised’ as only men can.
Hmmmm……. I wonder whats next…… LOL
